Two-time GRAMMY nominee Phil Wickham has made a remarkable debut with his new studio album, “I BELIEVE.” The album secured the top spot on Billboard’s Top Christian Album Sales Chart and landed within the top 5 on Billboard’s Top 5 Current Digital Album Chart. With this release, Wickham adds another significant milestone to his career, which is already adorned with songs that have resonated in churches worldwide and garnered billions of streams across various platforms.

In an exclusive conversation with Billboard, Wickham expressed his gratitude, stating, “Wow! Absolutely floored by all the love and support for this album. This is wild! I felt called when I started writing this record to create songs that feel fresh, but at the core, get back to the basics of who we are to God and who He is to us. Thanks to everyone for listening!”

This marks a historic season for Wickham. Amidst his series of SOLD OUT tour dates alongside Brandon Lake on their “Summer Worship Nights Tour,” Wickham achieved a Gold certification for his single “House of the Lord” by the RIAA. Additionally, his YouTube channel crossed the milestone of 1 million subscribers, a feat recognized by Fair Trade Services with a plaque presented during his performance at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on August 24th.

The “Summer Worship Nights Tour,” which began on August 10th and concluded on September 2nd in his hometown of San Diego, witnessed Wickham captivating audiences in various cities with SOLD OUT shows.

“I BELIEVE” follows Wickham’s recent radio hit and 2023 Dove-Award nominated song, “This Is Our God,” which has become one of the defining tracks of his career. After spending multiple weeks at No.1 on the Mediabase Christian Audience, Mediabase Christian AC, and Billboard Christian AC charts, Wickham has recently released the title track, “I Believe,” to radio, with airplay already on Air 1 and an official add date set for September 8.
