Multi-award-winning gospel artist Tamela Mann and TillyMann Music are thrilled to announce that they have received two nominations for the 56th NAACP Image Awards. Mann’s latest album Live Breathe Fight has earned a nomination for Outstanding Gospel/Christian Album, while her chart-topping hit “Working For Me” is nominated for Outstanding Gospel/Christian Song.

“I am deeply honored to be nominated by the NAACP Image Awards,” said Tamela. “To bring recognition to the producers and songwriters on Live Breathe Fight is amazing. Thank you for sharing my music. My hope is that people will hear the songs and realize we have to do the will of Him who sent us, who made us, who created us.”

Live Breathe Fight, produced by Tamela, her husband David Mann, Phillip Bryant, and Jevon Hill, is a poignant collection of deeply vulnerable songs that showcase Tamela’s powerful voice and unwavering faith. The album features her fastest climbing single to date, “Working For Me,” a track that earned her a place in Billboard history with her 11th No. 1 hit—making her the gospel artist with the most chart-topping hits in history.

Written by Tamela, Bryant, and Tameka Mintze (aka “Tia Sharee”), “Working For Me” resonated with fans across the globe, dominating gospel radio and becoming an anthem of perseverance and hope.

The winners of the 56th NAACP Image Awards will be revealed during a two-hour live broadcast on February 22, airing on BET and CBS, from the Pasadena Civic Center.
