Platinum-selling Christian artist Josiah Queen has released his latest single, “make heaven crowded,” continuing a breakout run that has positioned the 23-year-old musician among the fastest-rising voices in contemporary Christian music.
The new release follows recent singles including “judas” and “demons,” the latter of which climbed to No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian Streaming Songs chart earlier this year. Produced by Dylan Thomas, “make heaven crowded” blends cinematic folk-rock production with emotionally transparent songwriting, delivering a bold message centered on openly sharing faith and embracing spiritual conviction without fear.
Opening with stripped-back acoustic guitar and vulnerable vocal delivery, the song gradually builds into an anthemic chorus driven by energetic banjo instrumentation, soaring harmonies and pounding percussion. Lyrically, Queen reflects on moving beyond quiet belief into public expression, framing evangelism as a natural extension of personal transformation rather than obligation.
The track arrives at a major moment in Queen’s career. Tonight, the artist concludes the U.S. leg of his sold-out Mt. Zion Tour at Citizens House of Blues in Boston before heading to major summer festival appearances and an upcoming U.K. and European tour later this year.
Named after his Billboard 200-charting album Mt. Zion, the tour has further solidified Queen’s growing reputation as one of Christian music’s strongest live performers, with sold-out dates at venues including Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.
Originally from Florida, Queen began releasing self-written music as a teenager and gained early viral attention with “I am Barabbas.” His breakthrough came with “The Prodigal,” a platinum-certified single that surpassed 200 million streams and earned a GMA Dove Award nomination.
Since then, Queen has continued building momentum through a combination of faith-centered lyrics, emotionally driven storytelling and strong streaming performance. His single “Dusty Bibles” became his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 and achieved gold certification within six months of release.
Across platforms, Queen has now surpassed 1.3 billion combined global streams and built an online audience of more than 3 million followers across social media.
His latest album Mt. Zion debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart, reinforcing his status as one of the genre’s leading new artists. Songs such as “Can’t Steal My Joy” have also performed strongly at Christian radio, reaching No. 1 and expanding his reach beyond streaming audiences.
Despite the rapid rise, Queen continues to center its music around themes of faith, honesty, and personal conviction. He and his wife, Trinity, currently live in Tampa, Florida, where they continue traveling and ministering together through music.
With “make heaven crowded,” Queen delivers another emotionally charged anthem that reflects both their spiritual mission and his growing influence within modern Christian music.
