GRAMMY®-nominated worship artist and songwriter Phil Wickham has released his new Everyday Hallelujah EP, a three-track collection built around the title song and its message of discovering worship in the ordinary moments of life.
The EP features studio, live, and piano versions of “Everyday Hallelujah,” offering listeners different perspectives on a song that began in an unexpected place: Wickham’s upcoming book of the same name.
Set for release August 11 through Nelson Books, Everyday Hallelujah explores the idea that worship extends far beyond church services and sung praise. The book encourages readers to recognize gratitude, faith, surrender, and love as expressions of worship woven into everyday life.
In a rare creative reversal, Wickham wrote the song after developing the ideas for the book. As he reflected on the ways people can cultivate worship through ordinary experiences, those reflections naturally became the foundation for the track.
“Writing this song was a reminder to myself that God is worthy of our praise in every moment,” Wickham shares. “I hope listening to it does the same for you.”
The song challenges the traditional separation between spiritual practices and everyday responsibilities, encouraging listeners to approach ordinary moments with intention.
“We tend to separate the spiritual and the physical into two different categories,” Wickham explains. “On one side is church, prayer, and religion. On the other hand, there is work, errands, and email. But I don’t think we were made to separate these things.”
For Wickham, worship can be found in the smallest details of daily life.
“All things can become worship when we live intentionally in response to a gracious and loving God. Every breath, every step, and every conversation can be a hallelujah,” he adds.
Structured around 36 short contemplations, Everyday Hallelujah expands on that message by inviting readers to slow down and recognize opportunities to encounter God within the ordinary rhythms of life.
“I’ve been singing songs about Jesus for as long as I can remember, but I’m realizing now more than ever that not all hallelujahs are sung; most of them are lived,” Wickham says. “I’ve found so much joy in seeing everyday moments become acts of worship.”
The release of the EP adds another dimension to Wickham’s growing body of work, connecting his songwriting, worship ministry, and writing into a single message centered on intentional faith and gratitude.
The Everyday Hallelujah EP arrives as Wickham continues to build on the momentum of his recent music. His latest album, Song Of The Saints, released in September 2025 and became his biggest release to date, featuring the No. 1 single “What An Awesome God.”
Wickham’s catalog has earned billions of streams in the United States, while songs including “This Is Amazing Grace,” “Living Hope,” and “Battle Belongs” have become widely recognized worship anthems.
His accolades include nine GMA Dove Awards in 2024, including Song of the Year and Worship Album of the Year, as well as a 2025 Dove Award for Christmas Album of the Year. His 2024 album I Believe was also nominated for a GRAMMY® Award and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.
Following the release of Everyday Hallelujah, Wickham will continue taking his music and message on the road this fall with the Song of the Saints Tour, featuring Chandler Moore and special guest Jamie MacDonald.
The tour begins September 16 in Fairfax, Virginia, before traveling through cities including Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Ontario, California.
