Hope For Harvest is set to host its Night of Hope Charity Brunch, an inspirational community event bringing together gospel music, live entertainment, fellowship, and a shared commitment to supporting underserved youth across the Carolinas.
Taking place on August 14, 2026, at 1800 Brewton Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina, the event promises an afternoon and evening centered on hope, connection, and community impact.
More than a traditional brunch, the Night of Hope Charity Brunch will combine food, live performances, special appearances, and opportunities for guests to directly support the work of Hope For Harvest.
The event will feature special appearances from an impressive lineup of gospel and inspirational music artists, including Kirk Franklin, Keyla Richardson, Koryn Hawthorne, Darrel Walls, Kelontae Gavin, Zacardi Cortez, Jonathan McReynolds, Vashawn Mitchell, and additional guests.
Guests can choose between an Early Bird ticket priced at $25 and a VIP Experience priced at $150. The VIP package includes access to the post-event reception, a meet and greet with featured special guests, and a premium event experience.
Doors for food open at 7:00 PM, followed by concert doors at 8:00 PM, with the main show beginning at 9:00 PM.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Hope For Harvest, a 501(c)(3) organization committed to supporting youth engagement and creating opportunities for underserved young people throughout the Carolinas.
A Legacy of Hope and Service
The Night of Hope Charity Brunch builds on a legacy of community service that stretches back more than four decades in Charlotte.
Hope For Harvest traces its roots to Community Outreach Christian Ministries and The Harvest Kitchen, founded by the late Pastor Barbara Brewton, who dedicated herself to serving families throughout Charlotte. Her work included providing food to more than 100,000 families across the city, establishing a lasting legacy of compassion, faith, and community service.
Following her mother’s passing, Catherine Brewton was inspired to continue that legacy. In 2016, she officially founded the Barbara Brewton Hope For Harvest Youth Center, creating a dedicated space where underserved young people could access resources, encouragement, education, and opportunities for personal development.
Today, the organization provides a range of programs designed to help young people thrive. These include free after-school programming, an eight-week summer enrichment program, monthly community events, and annual holiday initiatives.
The center also encourages youth to explore their creativity through music, dance, performing arts, and life-development programs, helping young people build confidence while discovering their individual talents.
Beyond enrichment programs, Hope For Harvest supports families through a weekly clothing pantry and care kits containing essential hygiene supplies and other necessities.
The organization continues to build on Pastor Barbara Brewton’s vision by creating spaces where young people can feel seen, supported, and empowered to pursue their potential.
With the Night of Hope Charity Brunch, Hope For Harvest is bringing that mission together with an evening of music, celebration, and community.
