Atlantic recording artist Colton Dixon has launched a brand new single, “UP+UP,” available across all digital service providers today and set to impact radio on June 28th. The song, described as the perfect upbeat sing-a-long for summer, will be performed live for the first time at the annual Christian Music Broadcasters MOMENTUM conference in Orlando, FL, on Thursday, May 30th.
In “UP+UP,” Dixon shares a message of hope and resilience, emphasizing the belief in God’s plan to provide hope and a future, even amidst life’s trials. The song’s musical composition mirrors this message, encouraging listeners to place their hope in God and rise “up and up” again.
Following the successful spring 2024 “Love & Light Tour” with Jordan Feliz, Colton Dixon is gearing up for the Praise Party Summer Tour, featuring eight outdoor major-market shows, including a performance at New York City’s Central Park. This tour follows Dixon’s sold-out run of Elevation Nights’, one of the largest Christian tours in history, averaging more than 11,600 tickets sold each night.
In addition to his musical endeavors, Colton Dixon recently participated in a special tribute to his friend, MANDISA, on American Idol, and released the title track for the feature film SIGHT, which is set to hit theaters over Memorial Day weekend and stars Greg Kinnear and Terry Chen. The music video for “Rest of My Life (From the Original Motion Picture SIGHT)” debuted on his YouTube page this week.
Colton Dixon’s impactful career has been marked by numerous achievements, including his massive No. 1 hit “Build A Boat,” which received nominations for both a K-LOVE Fan Award and GMA Dove Award for Song of the Year. His bestselling 7-song CANVAS EP, featuring the top ten single “My Light,” further solidified his position in the music industry. Dixon has also made notable appearances on FOX & Friends and The Kelly Clarkson Show, and delivered a stunning performance of the National Anthem for The Kansas City Chiefs, in addition to completing his biggest touring year ever, with over 120 U.S. cities.
