Ezra Worship Initiative, a dynamic collective of artists dedicated to crafting contemporary worship music, has unveiled their latest release, “You Are More.” This bold and modern single offers a fresh interpretation of a timeless quote from Pat Morely, presenting a compelling musical expression of profound spiritual insight.

Sung and arranged in a Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) style, “You Are More” reflects the continued innovation and creativity of the Ezra Worship Collective in delivering impactful music for the church and beyond. The single captures the essence of a transformative quote by Morely: “There is a God we want, and there is a God who is. They are not the same God. The turning point of our lives is when we stop seeking the God we want and start seeking the God who is.” Through this release, Ezra Worship Initiative invites audiences to engage with this powerful message through a vibrant and captivating musical experience.

Beyond their musical endeavors, Ezra Worship Initiative is driving impactful change through their summer 10-week worship internship, which focuses on training college-age students in leadership, worship theology, sound/tech, and musicianship. As part of this initiative, they have partnered with Nashville Christian Songwriters to establish a worship music collective, enabling students to contribute to the creation of new, inspiring music for worship settings.

The release of “You Are More” marks the first six songs of this collective, with an additional six compositions currently in progress and set to be recorded. This represents a significant milestone in the development of the next generation of worship leaders and musicians, showcasing the dedication of Ezra Worship Initiative to nurture talent and creativity within the realm of contemporary Christian music.
