Multi-platinum Christian rock band Skillet have added another wave of certifications to their already impressive collection, with the Recording Industry Association of America recognizing 10 more songs and albums for their streaming achievements.
The latest awards highlight the continued reach of Skillet’s catalogue, particularly as their music continues to rack up streams years after many of the songs were originally released.
Leading the new certifications is “Monster,” which has now reached 7x Platinum status. The band’s popular track “Hero” has also climbed to 4x Platinum, while Awake and Alive has earned 3x Platinum certification.
Another major addition comes for “Feel Invincible,” which has reached 3x Platinum. The newly certified catalogue also includes “Not Gonna Die” at Platinum, alongside Gold certifications for “Falling Inside The Black,” “Finish Line,” “Sick of It” and “Back From The Dead.”
Skillet’s Unleashed has also received a Platinum certification, giving the band another significant album milestone to add to their history.
The latest recognition is notable for another reason. According to the announcement, this marks the first time a Skillet song that was not released as a single has received an RIAA certification, adding another layer of significance to the band’s expanding streaming success.
The certification also makes Unleashed the band’s third Platinum-certified album, following Comatose and Awake, with Awake previously reaching 2x Platinum status.
RIAA certifications recognize music that reaches established thresholds through sales and streaming activity. For Skillet, the latest awards demonstrate how their catalogue continues to find listeners well beyond its original release cycles.
The band’s certification history has grown alongside a career that has established them as one of the most recognizable names in Christian rock. Their music has continued to reach audiences through radio, digital platforms, touring and a strong streaming presence.
The new milestones arrive as Skillet prepare for another busy stretch. The band will hit the road this fall for the Still Screaming Tour, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark album Comatose.
They are also set to release their new EP, After The Storm, this October, giving fans another reason to look forward to the next chapter while the band’s back catalogue continues to reach new streaming milestones.
With 10 new RIAA certifications added to the collection, Skillet’s latest achievements underline the lasting presence of their music and the continued demand for their songs across generations of listeners.
