Rising Christian singer Carly Ann Taylor is embracing the true meaning of Christmas with her new seasonal release, “How Glorious (Amazing Grace),” an anthemic song reflecting on the extraordinary story of Christ’s birth.
Built around the familiar melody of the beloved hymn “Amazing Grace,” the track presents the Nativity through a fresh musical perspective. Its lyrics explore the contrast between a heavenly King and the humble setting of a manger, drawing attention to the significance of Jesus leaving heaven to enter the world.
Taylor’s soaring vocals take centre stage throughout the recording, allowing the song’s message to carry its emotional weight. As the arrangement gives way to a more stripped-back moment, she closes by incorporating the familiar refrain of “Amazing Grace,” connecting the new Christmas song with a timeless expression of faith.
Taylor wrote “How Glorious (Amazing Grace)” alongside Tony Wood and Jeff Pardo, who also handled production. Their collaboration brings together a seasonal message and a recognisable hymn melody, creating a worshipful addition to the Christmas music landscape.
The release also brings an eventful debut year for Taylor into focus. She earned her first Top 10 radio hit with “Why Should I Worry (Remind Me Version)” and received a K-LOVE Fan Awards nomination for Breakout Single of the Year. Her performance at the New Artist Showcase during the K-LOVE Fan Awards Weekend also drew a standing ovation, while K-LOVE named her one of its five “Fresh Faces” for 2026.
Throughout the year, Taylor has continued sharing music connected to her personal story of redemption. Her releases have included “Heavenly Father,” “Lifeline” featuring KB and “Something Good Is Coming,” each contributing to the introduction of her developing artistry and faith-driven message.
She has also taken her music on the road, joining labelmates Big Daddy Weave for her first tour. Taylor is continuing as the opening act on the group’s “My Hope Is Jesus Tour” through November. Earlier this week, she also performed as direct support for Blessing Offor at the House of Blues in her hometown of San Diego.
