GRAMMY-nominated Christian and country artist Anne Wilson is challenging insecurity, comparison and negative labels with her new single ‘Who I Am To You’, a faith-filled declaration about finding identity in Christ.
Released through Capitol Christian Music Group, the new song arrives as the first release from the next chapter of Wilson’s career. It encourages listeners to look beyond the opinions and labels placed on them by the world and instead hold onto what God says about who they are.
The message has already connected with audiences ahead of the official release. ‘Who I Am To You’ generated more than 800,000 views across social media before its arrival, giving the song early momentum as it also makes its impact at Christian radio.
Wilson describes the track as an invitation to exchange the negative messages people can carry about themselves for a deeper understanding of their identity through faith. Rather than allowing insecurity or comparison to define a person’s worth, the song points listeners toward confidence grounded in what she believes God says is true.
The release is accompanied by a brand-new music video directed by Alexa Campbell, giving the song another visual dimension as Wilson begins introducing this next phase of her artistry.
‘Who I Am To You’ follows the July release of Stars (Blue Hour Deluxe), which expanded Wilson’s latest album with five additional tracks. The deluxe edition included songs such as ‘Me & Jesus,’ ‘Maker’s Mark’ featuring Drew Baldridge and ‘Still Do’ featuring Cole Swindell.
The latter collaboration has also added to Wilson’s growing list of recognition across Christian and country music. ‘Still Do’ recently earned Wilson and Swindell a Dove Award nomination, further highlighting the crossover space she has built throughout her career.
Wilson’s music has consistently allowed her to move between Christian and country audiences while keeping faith at the centre of her work. With more than 2 billion career streams, the artist has established a substantial global audience and continues to build on a catalogue shaped by faith, personal experiences and encouragement.
Her work extends beyond music as well. Earlier this summer, Wilson released her third book, Rebel: Following Jesus When the World Walks the Other Way, through W Publishing, an imprint of Thomas Nelson.
The book followed another major achievement for Wilson in 2026, when her Hey Girl 40-Day Devotional received the K-LOVE Fan Awards Book Impact Award.
The new single also arrives as Wilson prepares to take her music to audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. She is scheduled to perform at Big Church Festival in Pulborough, U.K., on August 28 and The Long Road Festival in Lutterworth, U.K., on August 30.
She will then return to the United States for the fall leg of The STARS Tour, beginning September 10 in Portland, Oregon. The extended run includes 24 dates across the country, with Peter Burton and Aodhán King joining on select shows.
For Wilson, ‘Who I Am To You’ is more than an introduction to a new musical chapter. It continues a message that runs through much of her work: that identity does not have to be determined by insecurity, comparison or the expectations of others.
Instead, the song encourages listeners to hold onto their faith and remember the value they have through their relationship with Christ.
With its early social media response, Christian radio impact and accompanying music video, ‘Who I Am To You’ opens the next chapter of Anne Wilson’s career with a message of confidence, faith and authenticity.
