Award-winning artist Matthew West is spreading holiday cheer with a special invitation to ‘Come Home For Christmas’ through a concert special set to air on December 22 at 7pm CT on TBN. Filmed at Belmont’s Fisher Center in Nashville, TN on December 2, the concert features West performing a mix of classic holiday hits, along with his original tunes “Come Home For Christmas” and “Because of Bethlehem.” The event also includes a heartwarming duet of “Gloria in Excelsis Deo” with his daughter, Lulu West.
“Because of Bethlehem,” inspired by New York Times bestselling author Max Lucado’s book of the same title, serves as a poignant reminder of the promise of God’s love through the birth of Jesus. The concert special promises to be a heartwarming and uplifting experience for viewers, capturing the spirit of the holiday season.
In addition to the concert special, West recently celebrated an impressive 2023, receiving ASCAP’s prestigious Golden Note Award, a recognition reserved for songwriters, composers, and artists who have achieved extraordinary career milestones. He also marked a significant milestone with his 30th number one song as an artist-songwriter combined.
