Keith Christ is excited to announce the release of his new single, “SO MUCH MORE!” This vibrant track, infused with an experimental acid jazz funk feel, lively guitars, and emotionally engaged vocals, explores the depths of faith and resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
Inspired by biblical stories and the lives of individuals he has witnessed fighting their battles, Keith’s latest single emphasizes the transformative power of faith. He reflects, “There is ‘SO MUCH MORE’ to living. When life was a mess, I saw people take what was in their hands—throwing them up in the air, prostrating to the ground, or clasping together in prayer. They leaned into their faith and belief in what God had placed in their hearts, trusting Him even through tears.”
In “SO MUCH MORE!”, Keith highlights the importance of recognizing that true strength comes not from emotions but from unwavering belief in God. He encourages listeners to look back at their past experiences of faith, which serve as a foundation during turbulent times. As he puts it, “We are not to live by emotions but to know and remember who God is. For those who do not know Him yet, they can often see the evidence of His transformative power in others’ lives.”
The song also draws on the story of Moses, reminding listeners that they are not alone in their struggles. Just as Moses had support from Aaron and Hur while lifting his hands in prayer, we too can rely on others for upliftment. Keith emphasizes, “There’s a high probability they were calling out to God at the same time as Moses, while Joshua was engaged in the physical battle.”
Keith Christ’s Journey
Keith Christ is a resilient Christian and dedicated father of three. His life story is marked by significant challenges, including growing up in a household affected by domestic violence and navigating two divorces. Yet through it all, his faith in God has remained his first love and greatest pursuit.
Despite not discovering his musical talents until later in life, music has always been a guiding force for Keith. A series of life events interrupted his singing career in 2009, but a transformative experience on July 10, 2022, marked a new beginning. This divine intervention enabled him to overcome drug dependence and alcoholism, leading to an impressive physical transformation—shedding over 70 kg through a commitment to a raw food and fish diet.
Having been diagnosed with ASD and managing PTSD from a traumatic work incident, along with severe physical disabilities, Keith’s faith and miraculous recovery have empowered him to live pain-free and fully engage with his children, aged 10-22. This journey of healing has reignited his passion for music, inspiring him to take bass lessons, resume singing, and embrace songwriting.
